Inboxd¶
Inboxd helps you manage Gmail using chat.
Connect one or more Gmail accounts, pick which accounts a conversation can use, and ask Inboxd to summarize, find, and organize mail.
Start here¶
- New to Inboxd? Go to Quickstart.
- Want ideas to copy/paste? See Examples.
- Curious what you’re authorizing? Read What we access.
What Inboxd can do¶
- Summarize unread email (by account or across accounts)
- Find emails from a person or about a topic
- Open an email and show the important parts
- Draft replies / new emails (you confirm before sending)
- Archive and label emails (Inboxd does not delete/trash)
Safety by default¶
Inboxd is designed to be conservative:
- Inboxd never sees your Gmail password (Google handles sign-in).
- Inboxd won’t send email without an explicit confirmation step.
- You can disconnect accounts anytime on the Accounts page.
How Inboxd decides which Gmail to use¶
You can connect multiple Gmail accounts.
On the Chat page, use the Accounts box to turn accounts on/off for that conversation. This “in scope” selection is saved per conversation.
