Accounts in scope

Inboxd can have multiple Gmail accounts connected.

In chat, you choose which connected accounts are “in scope” for that conversation.

Why scope matters

Scope prevents confusion and keeps results relevant. For example, you might only want to search work email in one thread and personal email in another.

How to use it

• On the Chat page, use the Accounts box on the left.
• Click an account to turn it on or off for the current conversation.
• That selection is saved per conversation (thread). When you reopen a conversation later, it keeps the same account scope.

Connected accounts vs in-scope accounts

• Accounts page: connect or disconnect Gmail accounts.
• Accounts box in Chat: choose which connected accounts the conversation can use.
