Connect Gmail

Inboxd uses Google’s authorization flow to connect Gmail. Inboxd never sees your Gmail password.

Connect an account

1. Open Accounts in Inboxd.
2. Click + Add Account.
3. Choose a Google account.
4. Review the permissions and click Allow.

When you return to Inboxd, the account will appear in your Accounts list.

What permissions mean (plain English)

Inboxd requests Gmail access so it can do the things you ask (search, summarize, draft, and organize).

Inboxd is designed to be conservative:

• It won’t send anything without an explicit confirmation step.
• It does not expose “delete/trash” actions in the product.

Disconnect an account

You can disconnect from inside Inboxd (Accounts page). You can also revoke access from your Google Account security settings.
