What Inboxd can access

Inboxd can only do what you authorize.

Gmail

Inboxd requests Gmail permissions so it can:

  • Search and read messages you ask it to find
  • Create drafts and prepare messages to send
  • Apply labels and archive

Inboxd does not expose delete/trash actions in the product.

Confirm before sending

Inboxd always requires an explicit confirmation before sending email.

About the permissions (scopes)

When Google shows the permission screen, it summarizes what Inboxd is requesting.

In practice, Inboxd needs Gmail access to do the core workflow:

  • Find and open email you ask about
  • Draft replies/new emails
  • Organize (archive/label) mail you ask it to organize

If you ever want to double-check what you granted, you can review and revoke access in your Google Account security settings.
