Prompts¶

Prompts are saved shortcuts you can click to inject text into chat.

How prompts help¶

Prompts make your requests consistent. Good prompts save time and reduce back-and-forth.

Create a prompt¶

Open Prompts
Click + New Prompt
Give it a name (this is what you’ll see as a button in Chat)
Write the prompt text
Save

Use a prompt in chat¶

On the Chat page, click a prompt in the left Prompts box. Inboxd will insert it into the chat input so you can send it (and tweak it) quickly.

Example prompt ideas¶

Every morning: summarize new emails since yesterday.
Group by category.
For each Action needed email, propose a draft reply.
Don’t send anything without my confirmation.

Tip

A good prompt is specific about what you want, what to avoid, and when to stop.
