Inboxd is built to keep you in control.

Draft first, then confirm

When you ask Inboxd to write an email, it will create a draft first.

To actually send it, you must explicitly confirm the send step in the UI.

New email vs reply vs forward

Inboxd can draft:

  • A new email
  • A reply in an existing thread
  • A forward

If you ever get a draft without a send option, ask:

Show me the send/cancel confirmation for that draft.

Attachments

You can drag and drop files into chat.

  • Inboxd can see the uploaded file in chat.
  • Attaching files to an outgoing email depends on the Gmail integration and what actions are available.

If something can’t be attached, Inboxd should tell you clearly and suggest the next best step.

What Inboxd will not do

  • Inboxd does not delete/trash email.
  • Inboxd will not send an email without an explicit confirmation step.
